X-Plane Old Shabby Hangar Animated 1.0. This is an old rusty hangar with auto night lighting and animated chimney smoke. The doors open and then close every ten seconds. Simply fit a polygon floor if you don't want grass. Made in SketchUp 2017 with photographic textures and converted for X-Plane using Marginal's SketchUp2XPlane Utility. To be able to see this object, you will either have to create a new scenery, or edit an existing one (in both cases, this file would need to be added to the scenery's 'objects' folder). You will then need to edit the scenery with either WED or Overlay Editor to achieve your desired results. By Paul Mort.

X-Plane Lars Hoyer Vehicles 1.0. These 37 car and truck objects were originally made by Lars Hoyer back in the stone age. They were packaged into a library for use in FS2004 in 2006 by Steve Ziegler; I haven no idea when Lars made the originals. I am unable to contact Lars, but since he made them for anyone to use in freeware scenery, I'm guessing he'd have no objection to me converting them for use in X-Plane. X-Plane 11.30+ Vickers Super VC10 2.0.3. The Vickers VC10 is a mid-sized, narrow-body long-range British jet airliner designed and built by Vickers-Armstrongs Ltd and first flown at Brooklands, Surrey, in 1962. Numerous people have encouraged me to improve this model, so it is now painted similar to what the prototype Super VC10 looked like. Feel free to hack it around; for example you might wish to modify it to be a "poffler" by adding 6 Douglas Skybolt air launched ICBMs under the wings (yep they thought about it), or adapt it as a tanker. Please see the included documentation for further details/changes on this model. By Ray Hill.

X-Plane 11 Scenery--CYPW Powell River Airport 2.0. Powell River Airport is located adjacent to Powell River, British Columbia, Canada. This is a humble airport but one that deserves to be represented in X-Plane. There are some breathtaking mountains and (weather permitting) makes for some excellent VFR flights from or to Port Hardy, Tofino, Qualicum Beach, Courtenay, Campbell River and Port Alberni. This is a lego-brick scenery and uses the megabytes of art assets already included in your installation of X-Plane. It will compare favourably, at times better, to other (much larger sized) sceneries of this area and will probably exceed your expectations. Please see the included documentation for further details. Version 2.0 is a total reconstruction of the author's previous build. All buildings changed or added. By Charles Macelli.

X-Plane 11 V1 For AI 1.0. This is a very basic model of the WWII flying bomb (also known to the Allies as the buzz bomb, or doodlebug, and in Germany as Kirschkern or Maikafer) for use as target practice. As a fairly small aircraft, you are unlikely to see much detail of the V-1 anyway when you are "dealing with it". X-Plane 11.35+ Flying-V (Concept) 1.0. The Flying-V is a design for a highly energy-efficient long-distance aeroplane. The Flying-V was conceived by Justus Benad in 2014 as a student during his thesis project at Airbus Hamburg, and developed by researchers at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. KLM has backed this plane. In the Flying-V, the passenger cabin, cargo hold and fuel tanks are integrated in its wing structure. Because of its unique design, the engineers claim that it will be about 20% more efficient than the Airbus A350-900. A scale model of the concept is scheduled for test flight in October 2019. X-Plane 11 HMS Illustrious (87) 1.1.0. HMS Illustrious was the lead ship of her class of aircraft carriers built for the Royal Navy before World War II. Her first assignment after completion and working up was with the Mediterranean Fleet, in which her aircraft's most notable achievement was sinking one Italian battleship and badly damaging two others during the Battle of Taranto in late 1940. The carrier participated in the early stages of the Battle of Okinawa until mechanical defects arising from accumulated battle damage became so severe she was ordered home early for repairs in May 1945. The war ended while she was in the dockyard and the Admiralty decided to modify her for use as the Home Fleet's trials and training carrier. In this role she conducted the deck-landing trials for most of the British postwar naval aircraft in the early 1950s. This model substitutes the original US Nimitz found in X-Plane. Instructions on how to do this are contained in the included documentation. By Vasco Ribeiro.

X-Plane Red Sands Forts 1.0. The Maunsell Forts are armed towers built in the Thames and Mersey estuaries during the Second World War to help defend the United Kingdom. They were operated as army and navy forts, and named after their designer, Guy Maunsell. Red Sands Fort (U6) is at the mouth of the Thames Estuary. The towers had been connected by metal grate walk-ways. In 1959 consideration was given to refloating the Red Sands Fort and bringing the towers ashore but the costs were prohibitive. In the early 21st century, in response to proposals to demolish the fort, a group called Project Redsands was formed to try to preserve it. It is the only fort that can be visited safely from a platform in between the legs of one of the towers. They all have solid tops and all of them can be landed on. The gun tower rings/railings (or whatever they are) are not solid in X-Plane so you can still actually land on these towers, even if you are touching these rings. The other towers have nice wooden decking which I thinks gives better visual clues for landing. It is possible to spawn on the control Tower Fort using ICAO code EGZ1. The models are GPL licensed freeware so you can modify and redistribute them however you want to. Change the orientation, position it somewhere else, include it in your own scenery distributions, whatever. No need to even ask my permission. Readme file included. By John Bray.

X-Plane 11.35+ DeHavilland DH 91 Albatross 1.0. The de Havilland DH.91 Albatross was a 1930s airliner which evolved from the success of the DH 88 Comet racer. The wooden construction method was a precursor to the mighty Mosquito, which would have maximised existing factory tooling and skill sets in the workforce. These airliners used to do the London (Croydon) to Paris run and were later camouflaged when war broke out. The paintwork represents one used by Imperial Airways (later BOAC). X-Plane 11.35+ Miles M.39B Libellula 1.0. The M.39B Libellula was a Second World War tandem wing experimental aircraft built by Miles Aircraft, designed to give the pilot the best view possible for landing on aircraft carriers. A scale version of the M.39 design was proposed by Miles to meet Air Ministry specification B.11/41 for a fast bomber. To prove the concept Miles designed and built a 5/8th scale version, the M.39B, which flew on 22 July 1943, showing no "undesirable handling" characteristics. It coincided with interest by the authorities in unorthodox designs for large aircraft. The rear wing was higher than the forward one to avoid downwash and give ground clearance for the propellers. The M39 design had inboard flaps and outboard ailerons on the rear wing and the front wing had an auxiliary aerofoil/flap/elevator device, which could vary the wing area without changing lift coefficient. X-Plane 11 Comprehensive Checklist Laminar MD82 1.0. This is a checklist I made for Laminar's default McDonnell Douglas MD-82, an often overlooked but awesome feeware aircraft. In my opinion far more featured than the 738 and it also has it own quirks, especially with the autopilot, which you have to learn. This checklist started off as a fairly comprehensive one by an author that I haven't traced, but thanks to him or her for the base work. But it had no datarefs associated with the commands, so I added these wherever possible. I then started adding additional lines of my own and also compared the checklist against the one contained in the aircraft's 90 page POH. So, thanks to all those who contributed one or more lines from the various checklists I studied. This checklist takes you from cold and dark to overnight shutdown, and I hope it helps you enjoy this amazing freeware aircraft. By Robin Tannahill.

X-Plane AquaDuck Amphibious Duck Vehicle 1.0. This model is based on a real vehicle which takes passengers around Surfer's Paradise in Australia's Gold Coast.
